Had two midterms and finished my paper just ten minutes ago
Now I'm looking at 3 term papers, 2 more essays, and then finals... Haha, this never ends...
Current Pages I have written since this semester started:
73 pages
expecting at least 25 more pages for the last essays and term papers...
A word of advice, never take two english classes together, unless you like to write a lot.

God is Good!
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:1-3

Fall Down by Trevor Morgan,
Sony/ATV Milene Music (ASCAP) and Eric Quiram, Yawn Be Gone Publishing (ASCAP) administered by Fun Attic Music / Haley's Dream
What can I say
That you've never heard
What can I offer you
Where can I go
That you've never been
That you won't lead me through
Take my words, hear my cry
Only you can satisfy
CHORUS
Fall down on me
Drop me to my knees
Pour over me
Deeper than the sea
Rain on me
With love until I drown
I need you to fall down
If I had one place
Just one place to be
I'd be at your feet
If I had one prayer
I know what I'd pray
I'd ask you to fall down on me
Take my prayer, hear my cry
Only you can satisfy

I'll leave you guys with this cool Tee i saw today:
Well, back to my paper, with much less stress and more of a smile on my face

Once, Greg and I used to fight all the time, (ok we still do, but that's more rough housing...)

sorry, I don't have pics of current backyard. If I find one, I'll post it.
Anyways, we are in the process of digitizing all our analog pictures into the computer, so we've been slowly organizing all our prints, and I found these "treasures" that I wanted to share with you all...
Probably more to come soon!!!

No AIM for me again!
I have at least 3 papers due every week (Around 2 pages each), plus essays (about 4 due every month 4 to 5 pages each), and then reading for my online class takes sooo long... Hmmm...don't mean to complain, but taking 6 classes is hard. I was actually thinking about working, but not anymore...
So now you know what I have been, and will be up to this semester.
BTW NEVER EVER EVER go back to CRT monitors if you have had an LCD! My eyes hurt...

Time to Update
So things that I have worked on the past few weeks:
Greg and I totally stripped the white Jeep, saving all the parts and stuff. If you ever want to learn how to fix a car, take it apart... We basically saved all the good parts to be switched to our other Jeep. I have pics but too lazy to post them up... maybe later...
We then worked on transfering some of the parts to the red Jeep. So far we re-did the headliner (the fabric was sagging like all old cars), switched the front bumber to the nice chrome one, switched seats, added the top console and wires, and added the back windshield wiper. The Jeep is now put back together and "complete" for now. We will be adding the power windows and power door locks, (which means have to wire the whole car), and adding the tow package from the white Jeep.
Ok enough about the Jeep. Next we put in the two biggest windows (finally). Those two windows caused us a lot of trouble, and finally got them delivered. Added the frames and primed them, so looks ok now. Still have tons more to do to actually complete the whole window job, but at least the major windows are in and can notice a huge difference already.
We got a Total Gym 1700 Club, so now we've all been working out  I can feel the burn...
Um, started school today... only had two classes and this semester already looks heavy. Have 3 more classes to goto.
Not much else to say...tired like always..
BTW, when gallery2 comes out, I will be updating my site's look.

Phileo Camping Trip
God definitely had a hand in this trip from things just coming together perfectly. First off, want to thank Amy T. and Matt for planning the majority of this trip. They did an awesome job! Amy Y. who planned perfectly for the food on the trip. No leftovers (after everyone took something home, but still! hahah) Good food too! And to Dc. Sam who drove the huge church van down to the camp site.
So the first day, all met up at church, packed the cars (weird weather cuz it was lightly raining), and then went to the Albertson's plaza near church for lunch. Was listening to an interesting convo about comics and if superman could kill batman. Finally left to Manresa beach! I was driving the truck, kind of scary because I couldn't see out the rear view mirror, but the drive was ok, no traffic and got the camp site pretty quick. Unloaded all the luggage/equipment and setup all the tents and canopy's. Then we all gathered into our teams, made team names/cheers/and handshakes. Killer BEEZzz! Haha...you will be able to see videos of all the teams soon. I PROMISE! Then we headed to the beach! The weather kinda sucked because it was very cold, and no sun , but some went in still...ahem . A lot of us just stood at the shore getting our feet and legs wet. Haha Ronald Derek and I tried to see who could go in the ocean the farthest, of course I got all wet cuz I'm short... Anyways there was a group in a circle drawing in the sand. I think they were playing pictionary, and I came over and stood next to Greg. I looked out to the ocean, and I saw a huge wave coming in, and I knew it was the perfect moment... so I waited till the water came close to where Greg was, and then.... I tripped him. Hahaha ya, I know I'm a bad brother, but I told Greg before we went on the camping trip I was going to push him into the ocean. So he had a good warning.... hahahahahahahaha. After that, just threw a frisbee around until we went back up to the camp site. First dinner had chicken, spaghetti, and bread. After dinner, had our first meeting time. Had the freshman (and PH too!) do a cool game. Have videos of that too. Amy taught on chapter 6 on Stop Dating the Church. Then discussion groups. Even though were we are all tired, I thought our group still had a pretty good discussion time. After discussion time, I crashed. I didn't even hear anyone else in my tent come in, and they slept much later than I.
Tuesday morning, woke up around 6:15 and started to prepare for breakfast cuz the Killer Beezzz were cooking. Made pancakes, scrambled and boiled eggs, and sausages. Major props to Katherine who made pretty much all the pancakes. After breakfast, a little cleanup, devo, and packed lunch and prepared for the beach. At the beach had our second meeting. Worship was refreshing. Learned a fun new song, the Papaya Song. Matt gave a great concluding lesson on chapter 7. Had a great discussion time after the lesson. Ate lunch while others were burying Matthew and Elliot. Took group picture. Had sand castle contest. Our team made an appropriate bee hive with a huge bee and smaller hives and smaller bees. After the contest had relay races against the other teams. Many, many of us got wet. That's when Greg tried to push me in. I did fall into the water, but my upper body didn't go all the way in. He tried to get me again, but I saw him and we wrestled a little until we both fell. This time I saw a wave coming so I quickly got up and Greg got "owned" by the wave. Once again I did not go all the way in . After a little bit, Ronald was going into the ocean, and Nate was going to push him in, but didn't and told me to, so I ran as fast as I could (cuz I thought he was going to turn around any sec) and I actually jumped and tackled him in. (I hope I didn't hurt you Ronald!) I got drenched, and after that, I was soooooooooooooooooo cold. The water wasn't cold, but standing outside with the wind, I was shivering. But went back in to boogie board with Ronald. After 5 minutes tho we quit cuz it was so cold! After we setup the volleyball net and played volleyball. The mods that I made for the volleyball net worked perfectly! Like the net stayed up the entire time we played. (The net was not made for sand). Last year the net kept falling, but this year nice and tight.. After volleyball packed up and headed back up for dinner. Ate short ribs, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and salad! That was a good dinner . Our team was up for clean up, and then we gathered for worship time and later camp fire made smores and had sharing. After the sharing most of us stayed up late just talking. Haha, I tried. I sat near the fire to warm up but after 20 minutes I was falling asleep in my chair, until suddenly, this bright light blinds my eyes (haha, I won't say what it was...) I went to bed after that. I don't even know what time I slept.
Wednesday morning I got to sleep in a little bit. Woke up around 7:30 and tried to start a fire with the one log that didn't burn from the campfire the previous night. We ended up burning a lot of trash and lamp oil that was long enough to keep us warm. Breakfast has cereal, and muffins. After did devo, and started to pack up my stuff. Then we all tore down and packed up the camp site. and loaded all the luggage into the vans. When I went to go get the truck, I couldn't start it! The battery had died cuz one of the lights in the back was on (must have been from unloading). I though no big deal, thankfully I brought our jumper cable, and asked Greg to bring up the Montana so we could jump start the truck. When we got it all hooked up I turned the key, but the engine still didn't start. Like you could hear the starter cranking, but the engine didn't start. We thought maybe the van's battery wasn't powerful enough to start the truck, so we asked Dc. Sam to bring up the church van. Tried a couple of time, but still no go. Funny thing is, I wasn't worried, and somehow knew that God would provide. Finally Greg opened the air valve for the throttle a couple times and I tried starting the truck, and viola! It started! Even though I have to keep accelerating while in idle, we packed up the truck, prayed and headed back to CBCSJ. On 17 there was road construction and lots of traffic. It was stop and go traffic, and I was more worried about the dying on the freeway than when we couldn't start it. Again, God provided a safe trip back to CBCSJ. Went out to Sonoma Chicken Coop for lunch. Man, I was sooo exhausted from the drive, I barely talked during lunch, and ate sooo slowly. Had a good time though just listening to convoรข????s, and enjoying the yummy food. Went back to CBCSJ to unload, and we all went our separate ways  and that marked the end of the trip. We actually didn't get home till around 4:30 cuz of traffic and making sure everyone had a ride. Anyways came home, didn't even unload the cars, took a nice HOT shower, and slept.
I will give CD's of pictures to everyone in Phileo and those who want them. They will actually contain ALL photos that I have since 2003. If you have pictures from Phileo and want to include them in this CD, please find a way to give it to me. If you have this camping trip pics please tell me. E-mail me or IM me.

Random Updates
- Red Jeep is now running! Now we have to switch/ transfer a lot of parts from the white to the red one
- Summer school is almost over! You probably won't see me on AIM this week since I'll be studying like heck for final this thursday. Need to catch up on a lot of reading too.
- Went swimming on Friday at Hotel Valencia (very nice hotel BTW) and got water stuck in my ears. (Swimmers Ear) It felt really really weird, and I could barely hear anything or anyone. Saturday and sunday was like that as weel, so it was hard to play drums for worship team, and couldn't hear anyone talking to me... It was getting a little better on Sunday afternoon, like I could hear a lot better, but.....(read on)
- Matt's Party - (Happy Birthday Matt!) Went to Matt's party in the afternoon. Played b-ball, tennins, and wasn't planning to go swimming because of swimmers ear, BUT Timothy pushed me in... Twice! After the first time, I got out of the pool and tried to dry off, but Tim came along and tried to push me in again, but this time I fought back. I managed to eascape from his grasp three times and pushed him in instead (I even swung around the handrail that goes into the pool, which I was amazed that I did:shock:). I could hear every going OOoooOooo, hahah, but all I was concentrating on was getting away from Tim. Finally, he got me up on his shoulder, but I still resisted by holding on to the gates for my dear life, and then I saw people coming to help Tim so I gave up and let go . I was actually pushed in 4 times, but after the second it didn't matter cuz I was already wet. Oh well, it was hot that day and it was nice and refreshing . More push-ins and pool fun. Once again I got swimmers ear, but this time only in my left ear, and I still can't hear at all in the left. Probably have to go to the doctors of something. Anyways, dinner was great! So many people and enough food for everyone . I was sitting and relaxing with Ronald and Derek looking out into the amazing view from Matt's backyard. After dinner sang happy birthday to Matt, and was sitting down watching through his kitchen window (like a gigantic big screen tv) when Matt got caked (I don't know what else to call it) Started a whole war... Didn't get to stay for the whole party  cuz had summer school today, so left around 10:45.
- Today, I am soooo sore and tired. I'm so out of shape. During class, couldn't hear the teacher at all! (Water still in there...) I'm glad I was able to respond when he called roll. During class I just read the book not even paying attention to the teacher, and then left early since I couldn't hear him anyways.
Alright that's enough, gotta studyyyy now

Summer Update
[/EDIT]
Sorry haven't updated in a long time... but I have been pretty busy since summer school started.
Here are some things that have happened in the past few weeks:
Started History 17B for summer school last tues, and that class is intense. I should have know compressing a 16 week class into a 3 week class would mean LOTS of reading/homework/and studying. And I realized a 3 hour class IS long... It will all be over in like 10 days tho...
The weekend of July 4th had sooo many parties! 1st one was for a graduation dinner, the second was a birthday dancing party, and the last was for 4th of July family get together. These were all on my dads side of the family so I got to see a lot of relatives that I havne't seen for a long time .
We also got another Jeep! This one is pretty much useless cuz the engine blew up. One piston is gone, and there is a hole in the engine and holes in the oil pan. We bought it cuz our other Jeep's body is actually crooked. I'll update one that more laters as we figure out what we are going to do. But right now, the Jeep (the non-working one) is sitting in out driveway and we just recently took it apart to see the damage.
Last Sunday was Praise Night. Thanks Kinson for putting that together! It turned out well, lots of people came and had a great time just praising God. I was doing sound. I'm actually not a good sound person... so my brother and Abel and Mike were in the back helping me. I just "know" how to work the sound board but have very hard time EQing everything so it sounds nice . Well, I'm just thankful that there were no loud high-pitched peircing feedbacks . After praise night went with a group out to dinner in Mountain View. Ended up walking like 8 or 9 blocks away from where our car was parked to a pizza place. I was already tired so I was walking slow, and I was dozing off during dinner... I didnt' even eat hahah :???:
Yea... lately I've had weird sleeping patterns... I can't seem to sleep past 8am anymore  I don't even have to go to school until 10:30, and I usually sleep around 2, and wake up at random times during the night.
Well, back to studying

Crazy Basket Ball Shots
They will all be links cuz I don't want to load them on the page and kill your internet:wink: It might be better to right-click and save as.
1) The first one is an edited video (slowed down so you can see the ball go into the hoop..) About as far as half court.
Click here to View the Video
2) Here's a much better video of me making that shot. (In total, I made 9 of those shoots. Ok Ok... out of like 100 tries) Again about as far as half court
Click here to View the Video
3) Here's one of Greg. Can't see him very well, and in no way did we do any camera tricks. (Ironically we were doing that in the first place, but he made it without even trying) Half court.
Click here to View the Video
4) This is my cousin trying to shoot from where I shot, but ends up making the basket the wrong way. He did make it before but I accidentally recorded over it
Click here to View the Video
5) Here's another one of my cousin making a ridiculously far shot. He went over the side of the house. Probably as far as 3/4 of a basket ball court.

LA - Palm Springs in a Very BIG Nut Shell
:shock:This is going to be a long entry (have been slowly working on it day by day) I will keep publishing a little bit at a time.
Friday and Saturday June 10th and 11th, 2005
Packed, cleaned, left house around 10:00. Tried to find a place that was still opened because we didn't eat dinner. Finally wound up in Denny's in Gilroy. Finished dinner and left for L.A. at 12:30. I was already tried and slept pretty much the whole way. Greg drove all the way before the "Grape Vines" and stoped at Petro at 3:30. We hung out there for an hour and Amy drove the rest of the way. We got to our aunts house at 6am and took a short nap till around 8. Then we all left to go to my cousins graduation at Cal Poly Pomona! (Congrats Bui-jeh!)
The speaker said not to applaude or yell and such while they were calling names, but when my cousin's name was called our whole family started yelling and blowing our aair horns, and popping poppers and all that good stuff. After the graduation we all went back to my aunts house for a celebration lunch. That was cool, took lots of pics. Helped cleaned up after it was over and played basketball for a while. Made these ridiculous shots from so far away. I have video for it, but can't download to my computer... Anyways most of us "cousins" went out to BJ's for dinner. Had a chocolate chip cookie pazooki! yummmmy... I think that was it for that day...
Sunday June 12th, 2005
Woke up around the time earthquake #1 happened. Got ready to goto CGBC left around 9:30 and watched their Youth Ensemble practice for youth sunday. Their youth sunday was put together very well...and all the youth did a very good job (they lead everything from ushers to speakers). You all should be proud of yourselves . After church was over Greg and my plans afterwards where changed at least 3 times in less than 10 minutes. We just got the lunch that CGBC provides and was quickly taken to go to Banana Bay for lunch with one of my uncles family and grandma. One of my cousins (his youngest daughter) was also baptized that day and that lunch was to celebrate that. Had some time to rest after lunch, and then went to another cousins piano recital. He i s an extremely talented piano player, and just going into high school. GOOD JOB RICHARD! After the recital pretty much my whole moms side of the family went to a sushi place called Little Tokyo minus one of my aunts family. The food there is great! Pretty cheap compared to SJ. This dinner was to celebrate every occasion that was happening... (Graduations(4), baptism, recital, and anniversary). After the dinner went back to my aunts house and that's pretty much it.
[UPDATE - sorry going to do the rest in short descriptions]
Palm Springs stayed at a resort called Palm Canyon.
First day, played volleyball at gym, swam, then went cruizin around Palm Springs. wound up at the Marriot that "Saved by the Bell" did a few episodes at. That resort was soooooooooooo nice! Took the boat ride to Lake View (restaurant) then back to our resort to play some pool.
Second day went to the atv site to check it out, decided to come back later. Cruized around more, and wound up at the Veggie Tea House for lunch. After lunch, went to the nearby theater to watch Mr. and Mrs. Smith. After the movie went to Cold Stones and cooled off. It was HOT! Went shopping for groceries, and went back to the resort to cook dinner and rest, watch tv, and slept early.
Third day woke up ealry, went out to IHOP's for breakfast, and then went ATVing! That was sooooo fun! Have some video too . After ATVing went to Costco and back to the resort to play volleyball in the gym. Went back to the room and rested again and then we went out to dinner to try Brazillian food at Picanha. Pretty interesting way to eat, they bring out many types of meat and ask if you want it. They give you a piece or slice and its all you can eat. After dinner, cruized around a bit more before heading back to the resort. Watched more tv and rested again and finally crashed .
Last day (Thursday morning) cooked breakfast at our room, and left/ checked out aroung 10:30. Drove up the mountian to the famous Palm Springs Arieal Tramway. Took lots of pics, and back on our way to L.A. Oh yea, first time seeing road runner birds. Smaller than I thought, but got on pic of that. If thre's anything you want in more detail, just ask me
Back in L.A. ....
Went to Costco to buy aunt a present, and the Pho for lunch. (We were all kinda of sick and needed some soup  That's were we felt earthquake #4. (#2 and 3 were in norther Cal. with the tsunami warning). Went back to aunts house. Again attempted some crazy shots on cousins b-ball hoop... and this time recorded them! Hopefully i can show you all videos soon . Then went to dinner with almost whole side of moms family. Then went to uncle's house, and back to aunts house to sleeeeeeeeep .
Friday June 17th, 2005
Went out to breakfast with cousins and spent the day with them . Went to Rose Hills (cemetery) to visit grandfather, and other relatives. You can see pictures of that in the gallery. Went to lunch at Olive Garden, and then to uncle's house, then to otherr uncle's house said goodbyes  to almost everyone... Then went to other aunts house who lives near Manhattan Beach for dinner with them.
Saturday June 18th, 2005
Last breakfast at aunts house and left around 10. Ran into some major traffic coming home, but its ok... got home safetly. Stopped off at Harris Ranch for lunch. Got home around 5. And that marks the end of our vacation and visit to L.A.
During this whole trip, i didn't drive once  (except for ATVing)
That's all you can look at pictures now, if they don't make sense ask me

Past Week
All I have to say is, if you have oxidation on your car (meaning when you run you hands over the paint and its rough) then use a clay bar. That works so nice!
Here's the steps we took for each car:
1) Vacuumed inside, washed car mats
2) Washed as thorough as possible and dry. With high concentration of car wash.
3) Took out tar and bug goo
4) Clay Bar
5) Klasse All-In-One paint cleaner, polisher, and syntheic car wax
6) Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze
7) Pure Carnauba wax
8) Liquid Gloss (This stuff is great! A hard clear acrylic coat which is supposed to last forever. It even protects paint from chips from rocks and stuff...)
9) 404 Aerospace on vinyl, plastics, and rubber parts (UV protection against fading...)
10) Clean windows
11) Interior
12) Tire shine!
Um I also got the Phileo gallery up. It's a little bit messy, so you can also go here as well.
It didn't seem like there was a lot of things going on this week, but I had a lot of things to do. I stayed up late (2-3 am pretty much everyday and woke up around 8. Plus so many things on my mind it was hard to sleep...
Have you ever had a dream where it was sooooooo sad that you cried? Like only a few tears, and you are consience enough to feel those tears rolling down your cheek. Ya.. .I had one of those dreams last night......
Well on a more happy note, vacation starts today! First L.A. for grad, then lots of dinners / gatherings, and then Palm Springs on Monday to about Saturday or Sunday. Then Monday summer school . There goes my summer break...
Oh yea... CONGRATS to all those who are graduating! (Both HS and College )

Gallery2 Fully Embedded!
Ok...now I have to start adding pictures!
http://blog.nicktam.com/gallery.php
Now I will be working on embedding Gallery2 into Mambo for the Phileo site. Hopefully it won't take as long as my site...

Updated Site
For the Phileo site I was trying to integrate Gallery2 into Mambo. After hours of e-mailing this guy I finally got it to work... so I will be adding pictures to the Phileo site soon. It's a little bit slow, but that is because gallery is beta right now. (I can't wait until they release it!) Anyways, I'll be adding lasts years camping trip, sisters appreciation, the christmas dinner, and a bunch of group pics. I have to gather them all first though.
For my site, I found a sweet little plugin for Wordpress that allows me to crosspost to my Xanga Account. So now I post on my site, and updates my xanga account too:grin:. I was also trying to integrate Gallery2 into Wordpress. Got that to work, but sorry no images yet. (Just ones from XP sample pics I used for testing) I need to configure the gallery layout first and customize it. The Random image on front page slows down page load, but I'm hoping future versions will fix that.

Weekend Update
Thursday - Ended school around 11:40. Came home and started to clean up the house. Went out to sushi  mmmmm.... and then came home and trimmed the bushes outside. Marinated the meat for Friday's BBQ. .. and then sleep
Friday - More clean up, moved a lot of furniture around, cleaned up the baackyard a little, and changed water in fish tank. Then around 5 people started coming over for our Phileo BBQ/ Grill/ Hotpot night. That turned out well... lots of food! Lots of peoples too . Pictures will be posted on the phileo site soon. After the BBQ cleaned up, and most everyone stayed and hung out till around 11 and then started leaving. Played a coupe video games... we have some great footage of people playing AntiGrav.... and just talked... Nate Kristen and Alison stayed longer to chat and play Zelda and the super old NES system . Time sure went by fast cuz when they left it was around 4am in the morning! Good times... I didn't mind staying up so late, but I was sooo tired....I went straight to bed afterward they left .
Saturday - Woke up around 10:30. Family decided to go on a mini family vacation and we decided Monterey Bay. Drove down and got there around 3ish (stopped for lunch at Mimi's Cafe in Gilroy) We wanted to go to the Aquarium, but it wasn't worth it to go for about 2 hours before closing time, so we just walked along Cannery Row (i think it was) for a while. Then went to Bubba Gump for dinner. That place was cool! You should go if you have a chance... and can get in... Pics for this will be up soon as well...
Sunday - Church. Sunday school was pretty fun. Had a jepordy like game to review Joshua - Ruth. After church went out to eat and then came home and washed our Jeep and truck. Ate dinner while watching Ocean's Twelve. It was okay, but not as clever as the first one... which btw Greg and I also happened to find and watch right after twelve.
Monday - Was suppose to go to a BBQ for church, but spent time with family again since we rarely get to do that anymore. We decided to watch Star Wars! hahah yup... Got to the movie theater around 10:30 and the box office wasn't even opened yet. We were expecting a loooooooonnnnnngg line since memorial weekend, but barely anyone was there! Haha...so we wer able to get in without a problem... After Star Wars 3, we just had to see 4, and 5, and yup, 6 too! So came home and watched the "Special Edition" trilogy on our awesome LASERDISC set... (I'm being sarcastic... remember those huge dics???) That pretty much took the whole day... and it was sooo tiring just watching movies... So the only one we haven't seen lately is episode 1. We saw 2 a week before on TV.
Tuesday - Spent the entire day washing the Protege, and changed the oil. Greg and I haven't even finished cleaning the inside, but man...the car is soooo shiny i want to cry...
Ok that's it...

Camp Hamer (SAC) Update
*EDIT - sorry no pics from me.... I didn't bring a camera
Well, I guess A LOT of you are waiting for me to post "PHILEO RULES!!!" so you Crossroaders  can comment "TRAITOR!" but I'm not going to cuz Mike and Terence knows it's true! Muhahahahahahaah. Ok ok... Crossroads RULES too! I miss Crossroads and you all sooo much, but I'll get to see some of you senoirs (WHOOHOO!) this summer! Yay!!!!
So this weekend was EXACTLY what I needed. I just needed to get away from all these distractions I have and hear what God has to teach me. Camp brought back soooo many past Camp Hammer memories, and made many new ones this time. Thanks Mike for opening up this camp to the Phileans.
I don't know where to begin, so much to say and still meditating on a lot of what Pastor John talked about.
Well, first off, I want to thank Amy Y., Dc. Sam, and Greg for coming and showing our Phileo pride! Good bonding times together... Hope we can continue to grow together in Christ!
Also, a BIG thanks to ALL the Crossroads counselors, for all that you hae done for the youth ministries... Especially Mike! I know how much you have to do and put up with, so major props to you!.
I guess what I learned most about Pastor John was not what I learned that impacted me most (if that makes any sense...) It's what am I going to DO about what I learned. So what I am going to DO is read His word more! I want to memorize the whole book of Ephesians, because someday, it WILL be useful...
Had a great time with the team games, GO BLACK TEAM!!! hahah I still can't believe we got "Larry the Cucumber" as a Christian artist... And I got super sore from carrying Amanda downhill, and uphill because I was weak.... Ask Derek, I was seriously shaking while eating lunch, and so slowly...
Oh yea, Greg and I played Pastor Gary AND Pastor John in Foosball, and we got SLAUHGTERED! It was over in under 5 minutes! We didn't stand a chance.... Oh well, at least we scored two points!
Had lots of time to jam and sing songs, and I really like the Camp Hammer theme song, so props to those who helped write it. Some other songs that really captured me during worship were Unfailing Love and Glory... great songs...
Camp Fire sharing - That was just such an encouraging time... I was thankful for that because I got to say my goodbye to Pastor Gary and Tracy, and for EVERYTHING they have done for Crossroads and for me as well. I think PG was one of the most influencial person in my life and I am so grateful that God allowed him and family to come to CBCSJ for a while. So THANKS again PG and Tracy if you are reading this.
BAD - (Brothers Appreciation Dinner) Great job to all the sisters who prepared for that night, it was just awesome! As Mike said, we had the BEST servers! haha It was weird and humbling at the same time though, because I'm use to serving others, and not used to others serving me like that. So felt really appreciatied! I do feel bad for Donna, who served Jeff.... I don't think I need to add anything else to that...hahah... But, seriously, thanks for the wonderful night! BTW Melody, Oxi-Clean works super well with dressing staings !.
And sorry for ALL those who I didn't get to write on your encouragement cards! I can't write that fast hahah and there were too many for me...
Hmm...I know I want to say more, but I'll post that maybe later today...
aawwwww..

School Update
When I did my speech on wednesday, apprenlty I did it so well that the teacher stood up and applauded and everyone in class now calles me coach. (I reenacted a scene from the movie Friday Night Lights, where the coach gave the pep talk in last half-time). Yay! I got an A+ on that speech tho!
Had two midterms today, History, and Economics. I think I did well on both, but I'm sooooooo mad at myself.... For my history midterm, our teacher gave us extra credit questions, AND I FORGOT TO ANSWER THEM!!! And what makes it more bad is they were super easy, but stupid questions too. One of them was "What are the 'real identities' of Batman, Superman, and Spiderman?" And another was who didn't like to eat green eggs and ham.... I AM SOOO SERIOUS! He asked like 10 of those questions that didn't even have to do with history! I could have got an extra 5 points, but noooooooo, I forgot to answer them.... sigh.....
Oh I also got a 100 on my nutrition midterm from last week! But I know I failed my Art midterm... I couldn't remember Aritist's names or the periods and styles... I could only remember the peinting names and what they were about.
Anyways this weekend is just what I need. I can't wait:!:

DSL!!!
Upgraded from Comcast High Speed Internet ( 3000 kbps download / 400 kbps upload ) and went back to dsl from http://www.dslextreme.com ( 6000 kbps download / 608 kbps upload ). I got a really good deal from DSLExtreme, and not sure if they are still offering it. Basically I have 5 static IP addresses, and only paying about $15 more than cable, but double the download and a little bit faster upload. (Ours is month to month at $59.95 and guaranteed price freeze, which means it will never change as long as I stay with them.) Plus they have very good sales / tech /and general support. Live chat! Something that SBC doens't have, maybe because they are too big. PLus SBC doesn't offer a 6Mbit plan...
At first we were getting around normal DSL speeds when I did some speed tests, but after an SBC guy came and did some work, we are getting much faster speeds! Latest speed test from dslreports is 4553 / 508 kbps. That's pretty darn close, especially if I live around 14,000 feet from the CO! That's the highest speed so far, but a BIG difference from cable internet, especially the upload.
So if you guys get DSL from DSLExtreme let me know! They may have offers if I refer you to them.

Happy Birthday Amy!
Went to Il Postale in Cuppertino. Small, but good restuarant . There were a ton of people...hahah We practially took like half the restaurant! I'd say there was around 20 people who came. Good times talking with people. When we sang happy birthday, we were so loud, and everyone else was looking at us. Then Giovanna decided to sing for Amy. When she did, the restaurant was dead silent... That was about it!

Even Faster Firefox!
So for those of you Firefox users, here is a cool "fix" to make Firefox even faster!
HTTP pipelining
Here's a great go-faster tip for Firefox, the free, rock-solid, secure browser from the Mozilla Foundation:
1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now!
Prefetch
This tweak changes how Windows loads Firefox. If you prefetch the application it will start much faster. Edit your Firefox shortcut to read:
' "C:Program FilesMozilla Firefoxfirefox.exe" /prefetch:1 '
That will prefetch the required .dlls and make Firefox load much faster each time you load it. Just make sure to keep that prefetch code in the shortcut and to run it once per-reset for the prefetching effect.
I've notice my Firefox starts up and loads pages MUCH faster, even faster than IE
Oh yeah, if you use firefox, you can subcribe to my site by bookmarking it. Just click the orange icon in the lower right hand corner.
